Greenwood Represented on Judging Panel at AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards
Greenwood Plants was pleased to attend the 2026 AIPH International Grower of the Year Awards, held as part of IPM Essen, one of the world’s leading horticultural trade events.
Following Greenwood’s success at the awards in 2024, Managing Director Melanie Asker was invited to join the judging panel for this year’s competition. The awards recognise outstanding achievement in ornamental horticulture, bringing together leading growers from across the globe.
Commenting on the experience, Melanie noted the exceptionally high standard of entries submitted by growers from many different countries, reflecting the strength and innovation present across the international horticulture sector.
Congratulations were extended to fellow British growers Hillier Nurseries Ltd, who enjoyed a particularly successful evening, winning three awards including the prestigious Golden Rose as overall winners.
The result highlights the continued strength of the UK growing industry on the global stage, with another British nursery joining the Golden Rose winners. Greenwood also congratulates all of the finalists and winners recognised during the ceremony.
