Greenwood represents horticulture industry at HTA Plants in parliament event
Greenwood Plants’ Managing Director Melanie Asker was invited to represent the horticulture industry at the HTA’s annual Plants in Parliament event at the Houses of Parliament last week. The Westminster event was well attended by Members of Parliament across all political parties, who engaged in discussions based on the current landscape of the UK horticulture sector. Political representatives were given the opportunity to hear directly from industry stakeholders about the priorities and challenges of the horticulture sector. The message to Government was clear – lets focus more on growth and less on barriers to trade, which will support the horticultural and landscaping sectors.
