What is Greenwood Community?
Greenwood Community is our greening initiative where we make plant donations to community and not for profit organisations to support community planting projects.
Our aim
Sustainability is one of our core values at Greenwood Plants. Trees and plants and trees provide a wealth of environmental benefits, including improved biodiversity and enhanced air quality, that have positive effects on mental health and wellbeing. We want to work with organisations that are supporting the greening of local environments and play and active role in building communities.
Our progress
Since its launch in 2021, Greenwood has made donations to over 100 projects, supporting impactful initiatives that are driving positive change in communities. From local hospices and charities, to national-scale environmental schemes, Greenwood Community has grown to deliver more than 30 projects per year, helping to enhance green spaces in local communities across the country.
