Business Development Manager

Greenwood Plants is a rapidly expanding wholesale nursery based in West Sussex which supplies plants to commercial landscapers and local authorities nationwide. Based on our ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a proactive and energetic Business Development Manager to help expand our business nationally.

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating new leads, and ongoing business development of both new and existing clients.

The Business Development Manager will:

• ◦ Demonstrate sales experience (inc both F2F and telephone)
• ◦ Have a proven background in hitting targets
• ◦ Be able to follow up quotations to secure orders
• ◦ Adopt a consultative sales approach
• ◦ Understand there is a psychology to selling
• ◦ Display excellent communication skills
• ◦ Have good presentation skills
• ◦ Demonstrate a confident and professional attitude
• ◦ Be proactive, tenacious, and a self-starter
• ◦ Be able to use a CRM system and other tools

£60,000 OTE
