Plant Nursery Worker

Job role:

The goal for Greenwood Plants is to be the best landscape plant supplier in England. Your role as Nursery Worker is to help Greenwood achieve this by helping to improve the level of service and quality of plants we will be dispatching.

Key responsibilities:

· Responsible and accountable for all aspects of general horticultural work on the nursery as directed by your line manager

· Responsible and accountable for keeping work areas clean and tidy

· Responsible and accountable for ensuring Health and Safety and Manual Handling Procedures are followed at all times

· Responsible for keeping site records and following all company working practice and systems to ensure efficiency of operation

· Accountable for ensuring that the agreed work plan is completed in the right time and manner

· Responsible for identifying Pest and Disease issues and reporting to your line manager in a timely manner to ensure quality of plants is maintained

· Responsible and accountable for reporting any areas that need watering to your line manager

· Responsible for reporting any spray line and equipment faults

· Responsible for attending all staff training and meetings to ensure right level of understanding of all company working practices and systems

· Picking up on quality control of dispatch plants and reporting issues to your line manager

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
